a cousin for calvin + australia is far away

In Jane Austen's Emma, no one ever says, "When the baby is born," or "After the baby comes." Instead they say, "After the mother's safety is assured," or some such jargon. It's such a relief when both of those things happen, and though I'm sorry for labor plus c-section, I'm grateful for modern medicine.

[Awww, cute.]

Of course when other mothers are laboring for their children, I can't help but think of when I did that.
And I'm sorry to say but I can't help but think "Oh wow, I had Calvin by now," inevitably, eight hours into everyone else's labors.

Having a baby is such a big deal.

And now, without further ado, would you like to see some Australians who love love Calvin?

They were born on the other side of the world.
