Wednesday or Carday?

Every day this week Norah has asked, "Mom, is it Wednesday or Carday?" It was Wednesday once but Carday has not yet arrived; anyone know when that is?

I accidentally read this article about letting your kids be barefoot. Not that I needed any prodding in that direction, but maybe whenever the old people comment on the kids barefootedness I will just hand them a printout.

I have read or listened to Jeffrey R Holland's talk from last Easter "Where Justice, Love and Mercy Meet" two or three times in the last few weeks. It is a pretty comprehensive overview of the fall and the atonement, plus one of Elder Holland's really touching analogies. He is so good at those. My favorite line in it is "So today we celebrate the gift of victory over every fall we have ever experienced, every sorrow we have ever known, every discouragement we have ever had, every fear we have ever faced—to say nothing of our resurrection from death and forgiveness for our sins."  Calvin is having a hard time connecting Easter with Jesus at all, because as he asked "What does Jesus have to do with Easter eggs?" Which is a good question. So we also watched this little video.

Hoppy Easter.
