evening

 The sun starts to go down, the front yard is in shade, it begins to cool down, and we try to watch a show. The kids are still playing outside so we begin. And then they come in and need things. It takes us about 30 minutes, but we have finally watched the opening credits. And then it's bedtime. After an extended intermission, we begin again. The girls are in bed, the boy is still playing with friends, and we press play. And pause. And help with a thing, and then we play and pause and play again. And we've finally gotten about 20 minutes in and it's Calvin's turn to come home. So we pause. And chat. And snack. And press play. But then it's our bedtime so we decide to finish tomorrow. So. Where's the award for the longest amount of time it takes to watch one episode of (Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Gilmore Girls, Poirot, Murder She Wrote, Alone, Survivor, etc. you get the point)?
