well, blast and wretch

 Dang it, I was thinking of a little post about the children fishing with their old man, and I even procured photos from his phone to display here, but for some reason there is a lag between clouds or something and I can't access the pictures now. So anyway. Here is Calvin, petting two dogs at once at the neighbor's in-law's pool. Please don't ask me why I couldn't step back three feet to get a better picture because I actually did.

It's still not a very good picture. The dogs are at least visible in this one, though. Personally, I didn't care to have one dog at my feet and another trying continuously to get the snacks on the table, but Calvin thought it was a hoot.
